Continuum Recovery of Colorado provides outpatient treatment for substance abuse. Addiction is a progressive disease that requires ongoing care and support. Our Denver treatment center gives clients the tools, resources and skill sets needed to stop the cycle of abuse, deal with traumatic experiences and re-enter society with improved coping mechanisms. This comprehensive care is delivered in a supportive environment with qualified staff.
All clients work closely with our Licensed Clinicians and Addiction Specialists to understand the deeper reasons for using illicit drugs and alcohol. It’s common for addicts to have a co-occurring disorder such as post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety or bipolar disorder. Drugs and alcohol are therefore used for self-medication purposes.
Clients who reach insight on the “why” of their addictions are better able to process traumatic experiences, learn essential coping skills and envision a life that is free from drugs and alcohol. It is one of the first steps in the right direction in this long process.
